This statement sets out the steps that TradeFlow Capital Management Pte Ltd ("TradeFlow") has taken to mitigate the risk of enforced child labour and other human-rights abuses, including modern slavery, taking place in our operations and our supply chain.
As a company, TradeFlow maintains relationships with many different organisations in its supply chain. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery both within the company and within its supply chain.
The policy below underpins our approach. Our Code of Conduct states that TradeFlow respects fundamental human rights and is committed to the principles set out in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We support and respect the protection of human rights within our sphere of influence — in particular the effective elimination of compulsory labour and enforced child labour.
The Code of Conduct applies to all TradeFlow company operations and employees. We expect equivalent standards of conduct from all persons acting on TradeFlow's behalf, including suppliers and partners.
Our position
We are committed to opposing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. We expect the same attitude of all who work for us and of all with whom we have business dealings.
Our attitude to modern slavery and human trafficking is zero tolerance.
Purpose of this policy
Abuse of human rights and enforced child labour are contrary to the values and policies of TradeFlow. Modern slavery is a criminal offence in many countries around the world. Modern slavery can occur in various forms — servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking — all of which involve the deprivation of a person's liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own businesses or those of our suppliers.
