TradeFlow Capital Management is proud to share our CEMP - USD Trade Flow Fund SP has successfully issued and settled a EURC-denominated short-term bond via Obligate on Base — Coinbase’s Layer 2 blockchain, utilising Circle’s leading EUR-backed stablecoin #EURC.
This milestone represents a significant advancement in capital markets, as we leverage Obligate’s compliant and transparent framework to issue real-world asset-backed instruments entirely on-chain.
This marks the first ever EURC bond executed on Base, combining:
-
Obligate’s regulated financial infrastructure
-
Real-world trade flows by the issuer TradeFlow
-
Base’s leading public blockchain infrastructure
-
Circle’s leading EUR-backed stablecoin EURC
This transaction marks another success for Obligate’s mission to move TradFi players like TradeFlow onchain, enabled by Circle’s on-chain stablecoins.
Said Tom James, Co-founder and CEO of TradeFlow Capital Management, “This milestone represents a significant advancement in capital markets, as we leverage Obligate’s compliant and transparent framework to issue real-world asset-backed instruments entirely on-chain.”
Obligate continues to redefine debt capital markets by making them more accessible, programmable, and legally enforceable — now live on Base, bringing scale and security to Web3-native finance.
